The Emoji Store

Because people love Emojis, interact with them, express through them, AVS chose to use them for Rubaiyat Department Store. In Addition to the emotional bond between people and Emojis, We conducted Product Analysis in what this Luxury Department store is offering this season. Brands such Karl Lagerfield, Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Charlottle Olympia and much more, used these elements within their designs. This scheme was a mirror of what’s available in store not just in terms of products, but also the concepts rooms they have, we used Artists to illustrate these spaces “The Perfume room, the Shoe Salon, The Denim wall and the Ruba lounge”. Each window was presenting a room, thus presenting an entire Category. The windows came out very strong to brand the store and what it offers, and that is one main reason of why we design and believe in window displays!
We used black and white for all illustrations, and pop coloured in the headpieces and half bodies which took these windows more into the imaginary cartoonish world. The windows were side framed with cropped Emojis, each window has a coloured Neon Signage with the name of that space, the windows were similar to small mini shops, each selling a certain fashion category.
